Electrical safety in the home is vital for the safety of your home and family. At the heart of your home’s electrics is the switchboard and if it’s aged or faulty it can lead to fires, electric shock, or other serious injuries.

Free safety check on all new properties we have not attended in a year where we will:

  • Inspect your circuit breakers and RCBO’s (safety switches) are in good condition
  • Any old fuses are replaced and upgraded
  • Inspect switchboard is sealed properly for fire safety
  • Inspect wiring with ceiling space
  • power points and light switches are safe and compliant
  • Inspect smoke alarms are installed, in date and in correct locations

We will explain to you anything lacking in safety at your property, and the risks if they are not fixed.

Where possible, we will provide you with a fixed price quote to attend to the items we identify so that you are assured of your safety.

I'll preface this by saying I do not normally write reviews but It would genuinely be a disservice to the community not to spread the word about Ranger Electrical.

We were quite despondent having had a different electrician 'ghost' us so I was impressed when the first thing Ben did was ask me for a copy of a building report I mentioned in my email - taking the job seriously right from the first moment.

Ranger Electrical proceeded to provide us with an estimate right away.

The estimate arrived and I'm ready for the traditional bill shock...but I genuinely thought it was so reasonable that I accepted it straight away and didn't even bother to shop around.  I was impressed when Ranger advised me that work could start promptly at 08:30 am a few days later.

Well I couldn't believe my eyes when Ranger Electrical showed up at 8:29 AM with everything needed for the job and ready to start.

Both electricians were true professionals. Showing utmost courtesy, even asking where best to park, taking shoes off and even asking permission to enter the house or use the bathroom.

I noticed they stopped work at about 4:15pm.. aha I thought 'early knock off' - fair enough they start early and it's been a long day. But I couldn't be more wrong. I then witnessed both electricians clean every part of the house - vacuuming, wiping skirting boards, benches - even parts they hadn't had anything to do with! I actually think our house was cleaner when they left then before they started?!

The invoice arrives promptly and it is exactly as per the estimate and in full alignment with our expectations. Money well spent.
